This Web site, the services it offers and its content (the “Web site”) are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any representation or warranty whatsoever, and are solely for the use of Multi PSI customers, for their own internal purposes, to obtain information pertaining to the services provided to them by Multi PSI, as the case may be, and for no other purpose. Multi PSI disclaims any and all representations, warranties, conditions or duties, express or implied, including without limitation implied warranties concerning the Web site’s operation, quality or fitness for purpose.
Multi PSI does not warrant that the Web site is accurate, sufficient, error free, complete or up-to-date at the time it is accessed. Multi PSI does not warrant that the Web site is free of viruses or other harmful content. It is up to the user to ensure the accuracy and completeness of any information on the Web site before relying on it.
Multi PSI does not warrant or represent that the provision of the Web site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, that the results obtained by using the Web site will be accurate and reliable, or that any defects or bugs in the Web site, if any, will be corrected.
Use of the Web site, including but not limited to any information from the Web site, is at the user’s sole risk. Multi PSI will in no event be liable to anyone for any special, direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive or other damages under any theory of law arising out of or in connection with the use or operation of the Web site, howsoever arising, including without limitation damages for loss of confidentiality, loss of use, lost profits, business or data, or damages to any computer system, even if the user has advised Multi PSI of the possibility of such damages.
The terms and conditions, information, products and services contained or referred to on the Web site may change or be updated without notice. The user accepts the responsibility to monitor the Web site updates to remain informed of such changes. In addition, the user acknowledges that Multi PSI may discontinue the operation of all or part of the Web site at any time and without notice. If the user does not agree with any of the terms and conditions of the updates, the user shall immediately stop using the Web site.
Access to or use of the Web site constitutes acceptance of the terms of use stated above. The statements set out in these Terms of use are made without prejudice, reserving on behalf of Multi PSI all rights and defences found in the bill of lading and/or otherwise contracted.
In the event that any provision of these terms and conditions is declared illegal, unenforceable or void by a court decision, the other provisions shall remain valid and shall continue to apply. The terms and conditions of the Web site, as well as any additional applicable conditions, are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and any applicable federal laws.
Personal information
Although Multi PSI generally carries on its businesses with other business entities and not with the general public or individual consumers, it may, in certain cases, collect personal information. To sign up for the newsletter or request a quote through the Multi PSI Web site, the user must provide his or her name, the name of the company by which he or she is employed, a business address and phone number and a valid email address. This information is collected and used to verify the identity of the user with the employer, to verify the user’s identity for interactions with Multi PSI staff concerning the operation of the Web site, and to contact the user if necessary. Information concerning the user’s interaction with the Web site, which can be tied in whole or in part to the user’s IP address, may be compiled for statistical purposes in order to improve the performance, features and operation of the Web site; the user hereby consents to such collection and use of information. Unless otherwise specified during online registration, the information provided will only be used for these purposes. All records containing personally identifiable information will be kept securely and confidentially by Multi PSI at its facilities; it is understood, however, that this personal information may be communicated to the user’s employer and to Multi PSI for the purposes stated above. All information concerning methods of payment, such as credit card data, will be kept securely and confidentially by Multi PSI. Emails are not encrypted, however, and are not considered a safe means of communicating credit card numbers. Personal information transmitted to human resources
The personal information that the user provides for a job application is required for the following purpose: examination of the job application and examination of any decision related to hiring and, possibly, to the candidate’s eventual duties. In general, this information will be used to manage the hiring process and the maintenance of a job that may be offered to the candidate. Unless otherwise specified, the information provided by the user will be used solely for this purpose and will be available to Multi PSI employees for the same purposes set out above. All records containing personally identifiable information will be kept securely and confidentially by Multi PSI in a file identified with the user’s name. Intellectual property
This site or any part of its content may not be copied, reproduced, communicated, published, made available or otherwise redistributed without the prior written authorization of Multi PSI, other than as necessary in the usual course of the operation of the site by an authorized user and for keeping a record of pages containing the authorized user’s data and to no other end. Reverse engineering of any software forming part of the site or its content is strictly forbidden. The use of this site and its content, except as permitted herein, is expressly prohibited and may be in violation of copyright law, criminal law, legislation relating to database protection, privacy and communications regulations and statutes.
